WCRF International works with researchers in universities, medical schools and research institute around the world, aiming to improve our understanding of the causes of cancer and how it can be prevented. WCRF International Conference
The WCRF International Conference featured presentations from some of the most prominent speakers in the field. International research grant programme
WCRF International manages and administers the International Research Grant Programme (consisting of the Regular Grant Programme and the Request for Application (RFA) Programme) on behalf of its member organisations in the UK, the Netherlands, Hong Kong and France. As the principal charity in the area, WCRF International’s Research Grant Programme is dedicated to funding research into cancer prevention through food, nutrition, physical activity and weight management.

WCRF NPRI collaboration
WCRF International is part of a consortium of 16 funding partners committing up to £12 million over five years to support the National Prevention Research Initiative (NPRI). The focus is on behaviours associated with significant risks to health-such as poor diet, physical activity, alcohol consumption-and on environmental factors that influence those behaviours. Research aims to improve health and prevent chronic diseases including cancer.
WCRF Project Group, the Netherlands, Wageningen University
Prof. Ellen Kampman of Wageningen University’s (WU) Division of Human Nutrition is leading a collaboration between WCRF NL and WU, which is being undertaken by the WCRF Project Group. The Group’s main, project is entitled: Diet, dietary supplements and body fatness in colorectal tumour recurrence and survival.WCRF International Academy

Food, Nutrition, Physical Activity and the Prevention of Cancer: a Global Perspective, is the most current and comprehensive analysis of the literature on diet, physical activity and cancer. You can download a copy at our special report website – www.dietandcancerreport.org.
To ensure the evidence is current and updated into the future, we initiated the Continuous Update Project.
