WCRF International Fellowships
As part of the WCRF International Academy activities, WCRF awards Fellowships to outstanding applicants for the 2-week International Course in Nutritional Epidemiology, organised by the School of Public Health, Imperial College London.
International Course in Nutritional Epidemiology
This advanced and interactive course aims to give participants a solid grounding in the knowledge and skills that are required to work as a nutritional epidemiologist.
Contemporary examples are used to advance the participant’s understanding of the practical and theoretical aspects of the design, conduct, analysis and interpretation of studies investigating the association between nutritional factors and (chronic) disease. By the end of the course participants are able to critically evaluate results from nutritional epidemiological studies, to evaluate a diet-disease association, and are aware of current developments in the field.
The course consists of a mixture of lectures, computer tutorials, debates, discussions with experts and a small group assignment with particular focus on current controversies in the field. Active participation is required.
Interested applicants can read more about how to apply, and course entry criteria, on the Imperial College London website.
