Together we are stronger
WCRF International is proud to be a fully vested partner in the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) Together We Are Stronger campaign.
The campaign aims to benefit people around the world by taking action and campaigning for change in priority cancer areas.
In particular, Together We Are Stronger works to influence the way cancer and its prevention is addressed by governments around the world.
Another important area of work is helping cancer societies, major employers and grassroots organisations around the world to promote action on cancer prevention and control.
WCRF International is closely involved in two key ways: supporting and contributing to activities around the UN Summit on NCDs, and raising awareness of cancer prevention through World Cancer Day.
As part of this work, WCRF International has produced a special advocacy fact sheet to help raise awareness of cancer prevention among UICC’s members worldwide.
