Grant Application Package

The call for Outline Applications for the Regular Grant Programme is now closed. You can download the 2011/12 cycle Grant Application Package (GAP) for more information. The 2012/13 GAP will be released prior to the opening of the 2012/13 grant cycle.

Please note that from 2010 there is a revised system whereby applications for the WCRF International Grant Programme will be accepted from anywhere in the world except the Americas (North America, Central America and the Caribbean, and South America). Applications from the Americas will be accepted by the AICR Grant Programme.

Investigator Initiated Grants and Regional Seed Grants are awarded for proposals that adhere to the WCRF International general principles and specific research priorities as outlined in the Grant Application Package. Preference will be given to applications that have direct relevance to human cancer. Projects that are outside the human in vivo setting that are not justified in terms of their relevance to humans will be unlikely to be given priority.

Regional Seed Grants are start up funds for pilot research on innovative ideas relevant to the above research criteria, which are awarded to investigators specifically from countries where WCRF International member organisations operate – France, the Netherlands, Hong Kong and the UK (excluding the USA).
