RFA Programme

The Request for Application (RFA) Programme is a new stream of funding to the WCRF International Grant Programme. It is more directive in nature than the Regular Grant Programme and will involve research topics that have been identified as being of particular high priority.

The first RFA call, launched in May 2009, was on the development and evaluation of biomarkers relevant to the influence of food, nutrition (including body fatness) and physical activity on cancer.

This initial call is a pilot and the future development of the programme will depend on evaluation of this pilot call at the one year point.
