Communicating our evidence-based policy work to the world’s key decisionmakers.
We use public consultations that are relevant to our work and make statements ahead of and during events to communicate our policy recommendations on food, nutrition and physical activity to governments, international agencies and decision-takers. At times we issue joint consultations or statements with other organisations.
Public consultations are a way in which public bodies and organisations seek input into specific processes to inform their thinking and decision-making. We respond to consultations issued at the international and regional levels (eg the World Health Organization). In specific cases, we submit responses to national consultations.
If you would like to know more about what we aim to achieve and how, read our policy strategy for 2021–24.
If you would like to see consultation responses from 2017 or earlier, please email our Policy team.
