  • Digital & Content Manager

    Permanent
    Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 per annum, plus benefits
    Full time: 37.5 hours a week
    Location: London N1

    We’re a hybrid working employer, meaning you’re currently required to come into the office a minimum of 2 days per week, currently Tuesday and Wednesday or Thursday.

    Your role

    As Digital & Content Manager, you will lead the development, management, and delivery of digital campaigns and projects that support World Cancer Research Fund’s mission.

    Sitting within the Communications and Engagement department, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing digital strategies, with a particular focus on email marketing.

    You’ll oversee the planning and optimisation of email campaigns, manage digital content and web properties, and use analytics to drive insights and continuous improvement.

    Collaboration is key, as you’ll work closely with colleagues across the organisation to deliver integrated digital initiatives that reach and engage audiences in the UK and internationally.

    Skills and experience

    • Proven ability to develop, manage, and deliver digital strategies and projects for UK and international audiences
    • Experience leading digital campaigns from conception to execution, ensuring alignment with organisational goals
    • Expertise in planning, creating, testing, and optimising email marketing campaigns, ideally using Mailchimp
    • Ability to develop segmentation plans, set up automation workflows, conduct A/B tests, and analyse performance metrics to improve engagement
    • Strong understanding of email deliverability, automation, and analytics
    • Proficient in building and maintaining landing pages and complex content areas in WordPress, ensuring accessibility and optimal user experience
    • Experience leading technically challenging web builds and maintaining oversight of core digital properties
    • Skilled in using Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager for tracking, analysis, and reporting
    • Ability to set up conversion tracking, debug tag issues, and maintain measurement frameworks.
    • Experience producing actionable performance reports and providing insights to shape digital strategy
    • Experience training and supporting colleagues in content management and digital best practices
    • Excellent written communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
