About our Cancer Health Check
Our Cancer Health Check is an easy-to-use tool to help you see how closely you are following our Cancer Prevention Recommendations.
It’s been designed to give you information that will help you look at your lifestyle and to encourage you to make healthy changes which could help reduce your risk of developing a preventable cancer.
It’s important to point out that we’ve aimed to make the Cancer Health Check simple to use, so although we’ve based the questions on strong scientific evidence, it doesn’t assess your personal cancer risk as it does not cover family history or some other non-modifiable factors.
The Cancer Health Check and the information it provides is not intended for the purpose of providing medical advice and is designed for adults not currently going through cancer treatment. Health-related information provided through this tool or on this website is not a substitute for medical advice and you should always consult your doctor or other qualified healthcare professional regarding any medical concerns you may have.
The data you enter into the Cancer Health Check is stored anonymously in our secure web database and does not contain any personally identifiable data. We use this anonymous data solely for the purpose of analytics. If you opt in to receive our email updates, your details are stored separately from any data you enter into the Cancer Health Check.
For more information on how we manage data please refer to our Privacy Policy.
