Find out how grant applications are reviewed and who sits on the panel
We talk to Dr Amanda Cross about how World Cancer Research Fund chooses which projects to fund and why cancer research is so expensive.
All grant applications to World Cancer Research Fund International are reviewed by a panel of experts, comprising established investigators in different disciplines who have expertise in diet, nutrition, body composition, physical activity and cancer. Successful applications at outline stage (pilot and feasibility grants) and at full application stage (investigator initiated grants) are then sent out to external peer reviewers.
