It was even more special to be able to raise money for an incredible charity that is close to my heart. Having lost family to cancer, I wanted to help make a difference.
Why does your support matter?
Around 40% of cancer cases in the UK could be prevented. With your support, we can continue working towards a future where fewer people develop cancer.
How are we making a difference?
From funding life-changing research to providing trusted health information, our work turns scientific evidence into action to prevent cancer and improve survival.
Kinda chic to order any of our free recipe booklets to make your life healthier. 💅
Today we are proud to launch our latest month-long challenge, 𓀪 112 SKIPS A DAY 𓀪
Over 11,200 people a year die from breast cancer in the UK. That’s 30 people a day. By taking on this challenge, every pound you raise helps fund research into kinder, more personalised, and effective... treatments.

Did you know that around 40% of cancer cases are preventable?
While not every cancer can be prevented, being physically active is one of the best ways to reduce your risk.
In this clip, our supporter James shares why cancer ...prevention is just as important as finding new ways to treat and cure cancer.

Throwback to 2012, when the WCRF International team joined cancer experts from around the world at the World Cancer Congress in Montreal. 🌎
For more than 14 years, WCRF International has been part of this important global gathering, sharing the latest evidence on cancer prevention and ...working with others to help turn research into action.
This September, we’ll be doing it again as the World Cancer Congress heads to Hong Kong.
The Congress brings together people working across cancer research, healthcare, policy, and advocacy from more than 120 countries. It’s an important opportunity to share what we know about preventing cancer and to learn from others working towards the same goal.
We’re proud to be taking WCRF’s cancer prevention research to a global stage once again!
You did it!
Feel proud! Not only for the extra pumping you gave to your heart, but also for your dedication in helping us raise funds so we can learn more, across the globe, about how cancer can be slowed and stopped.
Thank you to everyone who joined our exercise-themed ...fundraising challenge recently, like Instagram fan Emily here. Do you think you would be up for trying the next one? New shoes. Photos on the doorstep. Another first day back at school 🎒
For many parents, September brings moments they'll treasure. But for a parent who has faced breast cancer, it can be a milestone they once feared they would never see.
Sarah was diagnosed just one week ...after going birth to her son, Ted. At one point, she wondered whether she would live long enough to see him grow up.
This October, we're asking you to complete 112 Skips a Day for the 11,200 people who die from breast cancer each year in the UK.
Because behind that number are thousands of people – mothers, daughters, sisters, partners and friends – and thousands of moments their families want more of.
