New shoes. Photos on the doorstep. Another first day back at school 🎒
For many parents, September brings moments they'll treasure. But for a parent who has faced breast cancer, it can be a milestone they once feared they would never see.
Sarah was diagnosed just one week after going birth to her son, Ted. At one point, she wondered whether she would live long enough to see him grow up.
This October, we're asking you to complete 112 Skips a Day for the 11,200 people who die from breast cancer each year in the UK.
Because behind that number are thousands of people – mothers, daughters, sisters, partners and friends – and thousands of moments their families want more of.

What can $1 achieve?
Investing $1 in proven, cost-effective ways to prevent and control NCDs can generate at least $7 in economic returns through better health, increased productivity, and stronger economies.
Yet NCDs account for around three-quarters of deaths worldwide, while receiving a small share of global health and development funding.
We need greater investment in NCD prevention, particularly in low- and middle-income countries, where the burden of NCDs is growing rapidly.
Investing in prevention means healthier people, stronger health systems, and more resilient economies. Click the hashtag to learn more - #LeadOnNCDs
