Healthier slow cooking
From vegetable moussaka to whole pot-roast chicken, take it slowly with our new cookbook.
This cookbook brings you seven recipes that show how slow cooking can be delicious, healthy and satisfying.
If you don’t have the time or inclination after a busy day to spend your evening in the kitchen preparing meals, slow cooking can be the perfect solution. Simply prepare your ingredients earlier in the day and put them all in one pot to cook – a convenient way of providing nutritious meals for the whole family.
Our cookbooks and other health information resources can empower people to make lifestyle choices that can help prevent cancer, so we can live happy, healthy, cancer-free lives.
Sarah’s favourite
We asked Sarah Drabble, who has written many of our cookbooks, to share her favourite recipe from this one with us:
My favourite is the chicken hotpot. It’s made with everyday ingredients that I always have in and it’s really simple, but it’s packed full of warming flavour – it makes great comfort food. I often make big batches and pop extra portions in the freezer for a quick meal on busy days.
