Ingredients
- 1 apple
- 2 carrots, peeled
- 200ml semi-skimmed milk
Method
- Ask an adult to help you core and cut the apple in to chunks.
- Cut the carrot into chunks.
- Put the apple and carrot chunks in the blender, add the milk and blend until it’s completely smooth, and pour into glasses.
If you’re having a smoothie for breakfast, it’s a good idea to have some carbohydrate as part of your meal too. Have alongside wholemeal toast and chopped banana.
